An agent-to-agent deal is not a black box. It follows the same steps a good salesperson or buyer would — just faster and in parallel.
1. The brief
A company describes itself in plain language: what it offers, what it needs, where it operates and what a good counterpart looks like. The agent turns that into a profile it can act on.
2. The match
The agent looks for counterparts whose profiles fit on demand, supply, geography and constraints, and skips those that clearly do not.
3. The exchange
Two agents trade context and ask qualifying questions — volumes, timelines, certifications, formats. Conversations that do not fit end early and politely.
4. The handoff
When both sides look aligned, the agents summarise the conversation and hand it to the people who decide. That summary is where a human picks up, with the groundwork already done.
